Farming Simulator 2013 uses GIANTS Engine v5. The game features a very flexable modding system, allowing you to make practically any vehicle, implement or map you can imagine.
Mods consist of .xml “definition” files, .i3d “model” files and .lua “script” files. The supported texture type is .DDS.
There are predefined scripts – or “specializations” – for all the default types of machinary and the default features. If you need to make something entirely new, you will need to make your own specialization using a lua script.
